As Product Manager - Hardware at VoCoVo you'll manage the entire lifecycle of our enterprise hardware product suite, from ideation to launch and beyond! You'll follow a Product Thinking approach and focus upon customer problems, whilst working with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to successfully transform initiatives from concept to delivery.
This role has a core focus upon Hardware and as such requires technical hardware product management expertise. To apply for this position you must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK.
Requirements for Product Manager - Hardware
- Proven Product Management experience, specifically with a focus on Hardware products.
- Experience of launching and managing Hardware products and doing so successfully within a specific timeline.
- Prior experience of operating as a subject matter expert for Hardware products and providing relevant information to colleagues and external stakeholders.
- You'll have a strong bias for action, an ability to take the initiative and will thrive on taking ownership of key pieces of work.
- A passion for identifying and driving process improvement within Product.
- Great communication skills; you'll have the ability to convey complex ideas and technical topics with clarity to various audiences both internally and externally.
Responsibilities as Product Manager - Hardware
- Establish an understanding of the market and the target customers. This includes conducting market research, gathering customer feedback and analysing competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Play a pivotal role in defining the hardware product strategy based on market research and customer feedback.
- Collate research findings into concepts which can be prioritised, investigated, tested and trialled as future product iterations.
- Create a close working relationship with cross functional teams (design, engineering, operations, manufacturing and sales) to ensure the timely and budget conscious delivery of products within the required quality standards.
- Ensure that hardware products at VoCoVo are successfully meeting regulatory compliance requirements with related documented evidence.
- Establish yourself as subject matter expert for Hardware products, responding to queries and providing technical information to colleagues, customers and partners.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, contribute to the creation of marketing materials, and ensure a timely and effective product launch.
- Following product launch, conduct product performance analysis using metrics such as customer adoption, revenue and customer satisfaction. Based on the analysis conducted, identify and make recommendations for improvement of future product development.
- Oversee products throughout their lifecycle to ensure the continuous meeting of customer needs and market competitiveness. Including updating products, developing new features and potentially retiring products when they are no longer viable.
- Work closely with the Senior Hardware Product Manager and our wider Product team, whilst also collaborating with various cross-functional teams.
Salary
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
