Role Overview
Join VoCoVo as a Technical Presales Consultant on a permanent basis, and help top retailers transform in-store communication. Use your technical expertise to support sales, demo solutions, and drive innovation!
This is a hybrid position with a mix of working from home, our office in Chicago and travel across North America for client meetings and the UK for quarterly company meetings. If you aren't based in Chicago but feel you fit the bill, we would still love to hear from you!
Please note, to apply for this Technical Presales Consultant position you must be based in North America and and have the legal right to work.
What we're looking for
- Strong knowledge of communication technologies, cloud platforms, networking, or software applications. Experience with APIs, security, and telephony solutions is a plus.
- Ability to understand customer needs and present tailored technical solutions in a clear and compelling way.
- Confident in delivering product demonstrations, crafting proposals, and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple projects, coordinate technical engagements, and support sales cycles efficiently.
- A proactive team player who stays ahead of technical developments while working closely with sales, product, and customer teams.
- Someone who is able and happy to travel to customer sites, team meetings and company wide events in the US and UK. (Travel up to 50%)
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical expert in sales discussions, helping customers understand VoCoVo’s solutions.
- Conduct product demos and training sessions for customers and internal sales teams.
- Support the proof-of-concept (PoC) process, ensuring customers experience our technology firsthand.
- Collaborate with product teams to stay informed about new developments and relay customer feedback.
- Assist in technical documentation, including FAQs and knowledge bases, to support both customers and sales teams.
- Provide competitor insights and technical positioning to help drive business success in North America.
Salary
Salary range: $140,000-$150,000
