Role Overview
We're looking for a tech-savvy and meticulous Technical Operative to join our Operations team. You will program VoCoVo equipment using provided scripts and configure systems tailored to our customers unique needs. On a daily basis you will be focused upon Technical Warehouse Operations, including controller provisioning and configuration, base unit configuration and firmware updates across our warehouses.
This role requires onsite working Monday - Friday at our office and warehouse in Shipton-Under-Wychwood, OX7 6XU.

What we're looking for
- A great level of attention to detail and accuracy across both technical and operational tasks.
- Strong technical experience in the programming, configuration and testing of equipment.
- Basic familiarity with Linux systems and previous experience using Windows and Mac OS.
- Previous experience with G Suite (Google Workspace) applications, such as Sheets and Docs.
- An analytical mindset, alongside the ability to identify patterns, errors or inconsistencies in data.
- A technically minded individual with a strong bias for action and a desire to constantly grow by learning and adapting to new systems and technologies.
- Fantastic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a technical configuration role (or similar).
- Experience in inventory management or logistics operations.
What you'll do
- Program equipment using provided scripts and configure systems to meet specific customer requirements.
- Stage and test systems to ensure they are fully operational before dispatch.
- Day-to-day technical operations, including controller provisioning & configurisation, base unit configurations & firmware updates across the warehouses.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting and problem-solving within the team.
- Analyse data to identify patterns, discrepancies, or errors in data sheets, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
- Accurately pick equipment for orders as specified on pick sheets.
- Load, unload, check, move, store, palletise and pack products as required.
- Keep highly accurate records of inventory, configurations and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments to understand and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with established workflows and quality standards.
- Understand existing operating procedures and proactively suggest and implement improvements.
- Mentor and train new employees when required, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Support warehouse operations by performing other general tasks as required to meet business needs.
Salary
Salary range: £32,000 - £35,000
