Role Overview
The Sales Operations team's goal is to make buying from VoCoVo as easy as possible
while driving best-in-class operational performance. As a Sales Operations Specialist you will play a vital part in delivering our revenue growth target by ensuring perfect customer experiences and optimising processes.
In this role you will own operational excellence for new business across the UK, US, and DACH markets. The role involves ensuring flawless customer order fulfilment, coordinating project delivery, and transforming operational insights into strategic process improvements. In addition you will ideally have quota-carrying sales experience, a love of process and process improvement, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating strategically.
The Sales Operations Specialist will work in line with our One Team
principles, collaborating daily with colleagues in Sales, Finance, Project Management, and Warehouse operations.
Please note, This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role is hybrid, with a typical expectation of 2 days per week in the office. Time will be spent across both our Cheltenham and Shipton-under-Wychwood locations, though not necessarily at both each week.
To apply for this position you must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a strong understanding of sales targets and performance-driven environments.
- Hands-on experience working with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, with a solid understanding of WMS tools to support seamless, end-to-end order coordination across commercial operations.
- Confidence working with financial and operational data using tools like Google Sheets to create insightful reports that inform business decisions and drive commercial performance.
- A natural problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset. You can identify inefficiencies, implemented scalable solutions, and can show the real-world impact of your work.
- Confidence coordinating cross-functional projects and timelines across regions, and someone who isn’t afraid to constructively challenge stakeholders to keep complex initiatives on track.
- Ability to work independently but knows when to engage and align with senior leadership on key decisions.
- A strong cross-functional collaborator with a track record of building great working relationships with Sales, Finance, Ops and Delivery teams across multiple markets.
- Strong experience of international and cultural awareness, having worked across time zones and regions to align teams and deliver operational consistency.
- High level of organisation, adaptability and a calm approach under pressure. You’re used to working at pace, balancing precision and progress while keeping standards consistently high.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end order processing for New Business vertical: ensure accurate
order creation, coordinate delivery with project managers, and drive towards a
timely processing target and 98.5% perfect order rate. - Serve as primary operational contact for New Business sales reps: build trusted
relationships across UK, US, and DACH markets; provide proactive support and
eliminate operational friction that impacts deal progression. - Coordinate project delivery and timeline management: work closely with project
managers to ensure customer requirements are met; maintain oversight through
spreadsheets, Jira tickets, and delivery tracking systems. - Manage invoicing and commercial data for New Business accounts: accurately
generate and process invoices; handle financial data with confidence and
attention to detail. - Identify and drive process improvement initiatives: analyse operational patterns
to spot systematic problems; collaborate with Sales Operations leadership to
implement scalable solutions rather than one-off fixes. - Support cross-functional alignment: work with sales, finance, and warehouse
teams to resolve operational issues; ensure seamless coordination across
departments and regions. - Monitor and report on key operational metrics: track order processing times,
perfect order rates, and customer satisfaction indicators; identify trends and
recommend improvements. - Lead operational projects that improve sales effectiveness: take ownership of
initiatives that measurably improve deal velocity, win rates, and rep productivity
for New Business vertical.
