Role Overview
We’re looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to help us evolve how we connect with, inspire, and engage our people at VoCoVo. This role is about more than sharing updates, it’s about creating moments that spark connection, encourage conversation, and help people feel informed, involved, and valued.
You’ll take a thoughtful look at how we communicate today, using insight and feedback to shape a forward-looking, people-centred approach. Working closely with the People Team and senior leaders, you’ll help bring our culture to life through clear, authentic communication that supports both our values and our business goals.
What we're looking for
Experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or PR, ideally within a growing or technology-led business
Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to turn insight into clear, engaging communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural eye for storytelling and tone
A creative, people-centred problem solver who cares about connection and culture
Proven experience improving employee engagement and bringing teams together
Comfortable coaching or supporting others to build confidence in communication
Organised and proactive, with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle priorities
Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience partnering with senior leaders on communication or engagement initiatives
Familiarity with engagement, analytics, and collaboration tools
What you'll do
Shape and deliver a people-centred internal communications and engagement approach that supports our values and business priorities
Partner with senior leaders, the People Team, Marketing, and Talent to ensure communication is clear, consistent, and authentic
Create engaging communications and campaigns that inform, inspire, and bring teams together
Act as a culture and brand guardian across internal channels and messaging
Build space for two-way conversation through feedback, listening sessions, and Q&As
Coach and support leaders and teams to communicate with clarity, empathy, and impact
Support key projects, change initiatives, and moments that matter across VoCoVo
Own and evolve internal channels, using insight and data to continuously improve engagement
Salary
Salary range: £45,000 - £55,000 per year.
