Role Overview
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering complex internal projects and large-scale customer projects. From retail technology rollouts to product development, software and service setup, you’ll lead initiatives that directly impact customer success and business growth.
You’ll work across teams, geographies and partners, bringing structure, clarity and momentum to every project. Alongside delivery, you’ll help evolve our PMO, mentor colleagues and champion high standards, ensuring we scale effectively whilst continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Please note, to apply for this position you must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK. This is a hybrid remote position, we're looking for someone who is able to meet with our core team once per week or fortnight in our Oxfordshire (Shipton-under-Wychwood) office.
What we're looking for
A highly experienced Project Manager, you'll be confident in leading complex projects end-to-end with clarity and direction.
Strong experience delivering large-scale projects that combine both hardware and software, with experience in retail technology considered to be a big plus.
Commercially minded and financially astute, you bring a focus on efficiency and delivering cost-conscious project solutions.
A natural leader, with experience guiding project teams, setting high standards and mentoring others, ideally within remote environments.
Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools such as Jira, Trello or MS Project.
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to navigate and resolve challenging customer situations, both internally and externally.
High levels of adaptability and resilience, you're able to overcome obstacles and keep projects moving forward.
Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting retrospective investigations (PIRs) and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
A detail-oriented approach, with the ability to stay on top of multiple projects whille maintaining high standards.

What you'll do
Take ownership of delivering projects end-to-end, ensuring we meet our commitments and deliver on time, on budget and to a high standard.
Partner with Legal to fully understand project scope and commitments, ensuring alignment from the outset and throughout delivery.
Lead hardware and software rollout projects for new and existing customers, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, successful delivery.
Manage product development and technical projects, bringing structure, clarity and momentum from initiation through to completion.
Proactively identify risks and issues early, putting mitigation plans in place and escalating where needed to keep projects on track.
Act as a key voice in our ‘supportive’ PMO structure, incorporating all internal, external and contractor projects touching VoCoVo globally. You'll champion best practice and hold stakeholders accountable.
Contribute to the achievement of wider strategic goals, ensuring projects align with and support business goals.
Mentor, develop and support colleagues, helping to build capability and strengthen project management practices across the team.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
Encourage collaboration across business units and project teams to ensure good project delivery.
Provide clear and timely updates on project status, offering visibility on progress, risks and resource needs.
Monitor project KPIs and OKRs, ensuring performance stays on track and outcomes are achieved.
Promote & champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through retrospectives, reviews and the sharing of best practices.
Support resource planning and capacity forecasting across multiple projects where necessary.

We have a high level of external customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction and right first time delivery.
Feedback shows that internal customers enjoy working with our Project Management function.
Salary
Salary range: £70,000 - £85,000
